Hello beautiful people!
My name is Wendy and I am the founder & creator of Green Valley Soap. Why Green Valley Soap? The name for my soap studio is inspired from a verse in the Bible (the book of Psalm 23:2) and how God has lead my family and I to our forever (on this earth) home in Bristol, VA on Green Valley Rd. "He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.” I have leaned on this verse throughout my life to understand the character of God and how he is for us and not against us. He will always provide a way and give us peace beyond our own understanding! Believing this and taking leaps of faith, Green Valley Soap was born.
NATURAL & ORGANIC
Through His amazing creation, God has put before us all that our bodies need to endure a healthy life. This is why I believe in using ingredients that are locally and sustainably sourced, natural and organic, that come from the earth and were created by His hands. Truly natural and organic are the ingredients I use in the products I create for my customers. I saw a need for organic skincare products back when my children were babies. I realized certain products were irritating their skin making it dry, flaky and itchy and after much research and a lot of kitchen chemistry, I started creating my own handcrafted soaps and skincare products for my family to use. The results we experienced from using them were exactly what we needed and amazing to say the least. It was then that I realized I couldn’t just keep them to myself…I have to share them with others...and Green Valley Soap was born.
